Botanica Carousel Event
Celebrating the opening of the carousel at the Botanica in Wichita. The designs were inspired by the refurbished carousel horses, from the painted designs on the horses down to their silhouette. The project includes a series of posters, masks (the event was speculatively held during the COVID-19 pandemic), and invitations to the event.
The Details
The details on the posters were inspired by my own photography taken throughout the garden and of the carousel horses. Some of the photographed detail on the horses made their way onto some promotional masks made for attendees of the event.
